Assistant Fire Chief Eric Sagara serves the people of Dunnigan with over twenty years of fire experience. AFC began his fire career as a volunteer firefighter with the Madison Fire Protection District and has been an Emergency Medical Tech since 2001. AFC has spent time with the Esparto Fire Dept and CALFIRE.
AFC Sagara joined the Dunnigan Fire Protection District in June 2022 as a Fire Apparatus Engineer and was promoted to Lieutenant, then Fire Captain, and then to Assistant Fire Chief in August 2024.
Eric was Dunnigan’s 2023 Firefighter of the Year.
